About
Horror-thriller that sees an unusual storm bring about a species of violent creatures to a small rural town. The town's denizens take shelter in a grocery store to hide from the storm and the ravenous monsters. The film was directed by Frank Darabont.
Trivia
The movie is based on a 1980 short story penned by Stephen King. After the film's release Darabont has stated that he originally wanted to shoot the film in black and white.
