While unearthing a burial ground on an estate, an excavator and his team discover a medieval wooden ship. The film is based upon John Preston's 2007 novel of the same name. It was directed by Simon Stone.
Trivia
The film is a reimagining of the 1939 excavation of Sutton Hoo. Filming took place in Shackleford in Surrey in late 2019.
