Horror-thriller that follows a 17-year-old who becomes fixated on creating "true Norwegian black metal" with his band Mayhem. In an effort to put the band on the map he begins to make shocking publicity stunts. The film was directed by Jonas Akerlund.
Trivia
It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. The screenplay was adapted from the 1998 book of the same name.
