Max Mercer is left home alone during the holidays. While his family is away a married couple arrive to steal a priceless heirloom from his home. The film is the sixth installment in the long-running Home Alone franchise. It was directed by Dan Mazer.

Filming took place in February 2020, in Canada. Production was halted one month later due to the global outbreak of COVID-19.
