A colony of spiders exposed to toxic waste causes them to mutate into gigantic creatures that attack a small town. Director Ellory Elkayem based the film on his 1997 short film Larger Than Life.
Trivia
The film was dedicated to the memory of several people, including Lewis Arquette, father of David Arquette, and Don Devlin and Pilar Seurat, the parents of producer Dean Devlin.
