Third film in writer-director Kevin Smith's Clerks franchise. The movie sees the return of deadbeat convenience store clerks Dante and Randall as they set out to make an indie film about the store that started it all.
Trivia
In the film Randall suffers from a heart attack, which is based on Smith's own firsthand near-death experience. Filming took place in Red Bank, New Jersey.
