Celebrated across the world, Halloween is best known as an occasion for dressing up in costumes and, for children and teens, going to nearby houses for candy, known as trick-or-treating. Other traditions include pumpkin carving and visiting haunted houses.
Trivia
The holiday and the month of October as a whole is a time when many horror movies are watched. Many horror films are also set on or around the holiday, including the 1978 classic Halloween and its 2018 sequel.
