About
Commonly known as Stuy, the specialized high school offers tuition-free accelerated academics to city residents. To be accepted into the school, students must pass the Specialized High Schools Admissions Test.
Trivia
The school was established as an all-boys school in the East Village. It began accepting female students in 1969.
