An island country of the West Indies in the eastern Caribbean. It is northwest of Barbados and south of Martinique. It is the first country to be named after a woman.
Its main economy is tourism. The Pitons are two mountainous volcanic spires and are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The country's national beer is Piton Beer.
