A country located in southeastern Africa bordered by Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Eswatini and South Africa. It is one of the poorest and most underdeveloped countries in Africa. It is often hit by droughts and cyclones.
It is the only country in the world with a gun on its flag, namely an AK-47 Kalashinkov. Its longest river is the Zambezi River. The island of Mozambique is its first UNESCO World Heritage site.
