A narrow, landlocked nation in southeastern Africa. It is bordered by Zambia, Tanzania and Mozambique. The country is nicknamed The Warm Heart of Africa.
It was the first country in Africa to grow tea commercially. Tobacco is one of the biggest export products. Lake Malawi is home to more freshwater fish than any other lake in the world.
