Right out of high school, she joined the Navy and worked for four years in military intelligence. After being discharged, she began a modeling career.

After winning the title of Miss Egypt, she would represent the nation in the 2013 Queen of the Universe pageant.

Family Life

Both of her parents were born and raised in Cairo, though she and her brother were first-generation Egyptian-Americans. Her grandfather, Taher AbouFasha, is a well known Egyptian writer and poet.
